Toroidal seems like a slightly complex simply rotating shape at first glance but as the viewer stands and gazes at the piece your eye starts noticing all the complex interference patterns created by the passing elements.

it only takes the gentlest of air movements to start the work rotating and due to its inherent aerodynamic drag Toroudal never rotates very quickly in high winds always giving out a measured calming feel.
