Escallion came about from some experiments I did to see if I could create natural feeling curves and shapes by simply restraining the ends of pieces of material. Once I had achieved some beautiful curves the next step for me was obviously how to create a 3 dimensional shape and escallion was born!

I then had to see if it could be scaled up and down with similar results, and yes it can. The large version is in stainless steel and I have now made small versions of Escallion in aluminium and bronze the aluminium version has a contemporary feel while the bronze feels more classical.
