Ripple is the smaller sister piece to Wave I created last year.

Both pieces come from standing watching a Giant grass  Called Stipa in a local park with such a gentle movement.

Ripple's stainless steel rods which all come from a central hub are free to be moved by the lightest of air currents and tend to move in unison in the same way that a sea anatomy in a rock pool is moved my the sea water as it flows past.

in strong winds the movements are larger but the frequency of the ebb and flow remain constant still giving a calming feeling to a blustery day.
